The Generic's characters are not generic enough in terms of their clothing. Its mean't to be like the generic characters Alan gave to us in 1st year. Simple, A body with literally a top and bottoms
Generic characters with simple top and bottoms won't fit into the world at all. If you take a look at the scene they're in, they're all wearing long sharp clothing. As well as the detective, they're meant to be pushed towards jagged lines to fit with the environment.
If we put in shirts and bottoms, they'll look out of place in contrast to the Detective and Victim.

What I meant Ryan was that we are going to show them for 2 seconds silhouetted according to the animatic, there is no need for detail
